Happy Spring

At Diva Crows, the big spring celebration is Crow Moon, which is the first full moon in March. It gets its name from the cawing of the crows signaling the end of winter. (I give this explanation a bit of a side eye, as I’ve never known crows not to caw but I digress.) The Spring also brings a wealth of other celebrations. This year a woman brought us a bird on Nowruz, the Persian New Year, giving the Robin a chance at a fresh start in spite of an injured wing. I’m writing this on Easter Sunday which falls during Passover this year.

This year Diva Crows received an amazing gift from our mentor Nora, who has taught us everything we know. She made us a panoramic Easter egg to commemorate our successful placement of Bertram the Raven at the Cayuga Nature Center. Somehow she managed to create this masterpiece.
